🧠 TOEICトラップ：「Much」と「Many」

文の意味は分かる。
でも、空欄の前で止まる。

“There wasn’t ___ information available.”
「much」か？「many」か？

どちらも「たくさんの」と訳せる。
でもTOEICが見ているのは、「その後に何が来るか」です。

このトラップ、実は超基本。
でも時間がないと、意外と間違えます。

🎯 なぜこのトラップはひっかかるのか？

「much」と「many」はどちらも「たくさんの」という意味。

でも使い方が違います：

• much → 数えられない名詞

• many → 数えられる名詞

TOEICは「work」「information」「emails」など、意味が似ている名詞を使ってきます。
そして「急いでるあなた」が見逃すのを待っている。

✅ 「Much」は数えられない名詞とセット

量はあるけど、一つ一つ数えられないものに使います。

✅ We don’t have much time.
✅ There isn’t much information.

❌「How many time?」→ 不正解。「time」は数えられない。

一つずつ数えられる物や人に使います。
