Rerouting the Medical Shipment
STEP 1
Predict from the image
Three logistics workers are reviewing delivery information beside an insulated container and sealed packages. What might they need to confirm before rerouting the shipment?
STEP 2
Read: Rerouting the Medical Shipment
The carrier warned of a possible delay. Before approving a new destination, the dispatcher confirmed that the East Annex was authorised and that a named recipient could provide a signature. Because both packages appeared on one packing record, they had to remain together. The insulated container also had to stay upright.
Before the 1:00 p.m. rerouting deadline, the carrier directed the vehicle to a regional warehouse. Staff replaced both destination labels without opening either package. The tracking page then showed “rerouted—delivery today.” At 3:50 p.m., East Annex staff checked the tracking number, inspected both packages for visible damage and signed for the complete shipment.
