Temporary Cards on Monday

A design company changed its floor plan to create more shared workspace. Two departments exchanged areas, and several employees received new workstations. Staff packed personal items on Friday, but computer equipment remained connected until the technical team arrived. Each desk, chair and monitor was labelled with its destination.

Before the move, employees received a digital map showing the new layout and storage locations. On Monday morning, some access cards did not open the new work area. The facilities manager issued temporary cards, contacted security and guided staff to their desks. One team also found that its shared cabinet had been delivered to the wrong workspace. The move caused a short disruption, but the cabinet was relocated and all teams were working normally before lunch.
